Seminar outside your usual environment

We rent out seminar rooms with presentation and video technology. If you wish, you can end the seminar day with a lively and knowledge-rich hands-on activity or an observatory tour.

 

Activities:

(each activity costs €3 per person)

  • crafting a foldable spectrometer and completing a worksheet introducing satellite remote sensing,
  • paper rocket flying competition,
  • analyzing the flying of the bottle rocket and the flight schedule by filling in the worksheet,
  • visiting Stellaarium exposition and, if possible, observing with a telescope,
  • an interactive lecture introducing the research directions at the Tartu Observatory.

 

By agreement:

  • arranging catering,
  • streaming to the internet,
  • the possibility of making conference calls in the Maa seminar room,
  • use of other rooms.

 

Price list

Prices are for working days 9–16 o´clock.
Prices 30% more expensive after working hours, weekends and public holidays. University of Tartu employees and students can have a discount.

Hour €65,57 + VAT (€80), day €352,46 + VAT (€430).

Big hall (Marss + Veenus)
Hour €49,18 + VAT (€60), day €250 + VAT (€305).

Maa
Hour €40,98 + VAT (€50), day €176,23 + VAT (€215).
